Ski Touring
Every Sunday throughout the winter the Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club (SNSC) goes cross country ski touring – one of the best winter sports for active people in Saskatoon!Typically the group meets at 10:00 am at Lawson Mall parking lot (134 Primrose, conveniently across from Tim Horton's) to register and carpool. The convoy drives to different destinations about an hour from Saskatoon where there are groomed cross country ski trails for a fun day of skiing.
Members are welcome to bring guests. The guest is required to sign a waiver, and as they are encouraged to join SNSC, membership forms are available at each tour.

Hiking
The Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club (SNSC) offers scenic day hikes on Sundays every spring and fall. Each hike is about 12 km or 4 hours long through Saskatchewan wilderness regions, with participants hiking as a group across rolling terrain. There is always a rest stop for lunch along the trail, and for spring hikes the group sometimes goes for a hot meal in a nearby town. Each fall hike is followed with hearty fall suppers hosted by a nearby Saskatchewan community.

Hikers meet at a designated place to car-pool, typically departing Saskatoon for the hiking trails at 10 am. The treks are in wilderness areas, and hikers are required to be self-sufficient by bringing a lunch, plenty of drinking water, and extra gear including a hat, jacket, sweater, rain gear, TP and a small first aid kit.
